If Ballard can play for Northern Ireland I’am sure Kenny could play for Scotland or Thailand as well given his descent?

Wouldn't you want to play for your own nation though if there was a genuine chance? I imagine he could actually get in the Aussie squad - I'd much rather try get in the England squad if there was a good possibility of it happening than settle for another nation because its a certainty
 
He’s represented Australia at youth level, was born in Aus and played there in his early career so highly doubt he would choose Thailand / Scotland
 
If all else fails he could play for Ireland. English born Eamon O'Keefe once said he'd never been to Ireland before he was picked but his name fitted the bill and he once bought a pack of Kerrygold butter!

If this sort of thing makes more players see that coming to Blackpool and being coached by Critch could improve their careers then it can only be a good thing in the long term.
 
He's already been named in previous squads, another interesting tidbit is if he'll be named as an overage player for the upcoming Olympic Games.
 
Apparently played for the Australian under-23s back in 2015.

According to Soccerway hes been an unused sub twice for the national team. First in a friendly against Kuwait In October 2018 and then a World Cup qualifier against Jordan in November 2019.
