I seem to remember you were almost led back and had to crawl around using your arms and legs (like a crab?) as others have said it wasn’t exactly known for quick breaks etc. Can’t think as it’s years ago I just remember it been hilarious

As a kid at primary school we used to play a very violent form of British Bulldogs.

But even more violent was the very simple but exhilarating game known as "Cropper Soccer" in which it was a total free for all. Was a case of making the most vicious tackles you could mixed in with rugby and WWE if you'd missed the legs. I can remember absolutely loving it even when being scythed down with a two footer to the ankles, knees, body or head if you'd watched enough Karate Kid moves. The retribution was quite sinister to the person that last twatted you.

It's a far reach from football today LOL.
