As you say, some of the ignorant and stupid people on here are not worth having their posts read . So no I haven't read these post you are on about . I have just formed my opinion on what I heard on the T.V. this morning and if I can't form an

All those that are willing to strike are just greedy bastards. As far as i can see, a sliced loaf in a supermarket is the same price for every customer.
Fly to Kavala- I can’t speak for people who have joined the profession in the last few years, I agree that they would be aware of the fact that they would be unlikely to earn big money
But those posting on here from experience have been doing the job for around 30 years when you could earn a perfectly respectable salary, certainly not lottery or premiership footballers wages but enough to live on
When you then have no rate rises year-on-year and even endure two 8.75% cuts it suddenly creeps up on you and you realise that you are earning less than you were 20 years ago
How many professions can say that or would put up with it? Can you imagine if NHS workers were striking over such cuts, the public would be entirely on board
But the reality is that a lot of people are taking your advice and going into areas of law that do not rely upon public funding
To take Blackpool duty Solicitor scheme as an example, when I started I would say that the average age was about 30, it is now over 60, there are several in their 70s and only one in their 30s
The majority started around the time that I did and are in the mid to late 50s
There is simply nobody coming in to replace those who retire, it doesn’t take a genius to work out that in 10 years time there is going to be a huge problem and the only way to reverse it is to offer incentives for people to come and do this very important area of work

I seem to remember there was a case about this a few years back, a trial couldn't go ahead because the defendant required specialist representation, but nobody was going to take the case at legal aid rates, not sure what happened in the end, maybe one of those in the profession knows more.
This is the most disturbing part of the situation. I’m sure that the huge service providers will be ready to swoop to provide “legal representative services” at a very competitive rate to the government. I’m sure Capita would love to provide a sustainable source of criminals to their other subsidiaries which run prisons, the parole system, and immigration.
I’d be ** terrified if I were accused of a crime in 2040.

I can't believe that someone reads every post on this website ,especially when a lot of the posts more or less repeat themselves , but no matter what . You have to form an opinion from the information you have seen and if you get a load of abuse for doing that , then you are asking for the uneducated bullies to rule and viable comments wrong or right not being posted . This would make this website unusable.
The reason things get repeated are due to people like yourself not reading the previous replies. If you’d read the thread you would’ve understood that these protests are incredibly necessary and not the rich trying to get richer or whatever it was you said.

You have made a point that was made by you reading these posts . You are entitled to make a point from reading these posts {if they are true and correct}. I am not going to insult you on this post for doing this. Chat rooms need different views , but I got my information from the television and that is usually more accurate then some know alls on a website . So I will stick by my opinion and if you want to change it , get on ITV. Remember it is only my opinion from limited information , you may be right all the time . This does not give you an excuse to be rude and patronising.
