Critchley award noticed by Liverpool

He will be the next Liverpool manager. They will want to continue in the Klopp style so he will be the obvious choice. I would guess it would be the only club he would leave us for.

If his success continues he would be a natural choice for Liverpool and would also have Klopp's blessing too. With that in mind it really makes a lot of sense for him to stay at Blackpool use the opportunity and the time to build his own squad and deliver success in a limited pressure environment, before a move that I don't think any of us could ever object to.👍

As long as we do the double over them again beforehand

Personally I'd suggest a move up to Glasgow in a couple of years, get the sort of European experience on his CV that all the top clubs now require.

I think he'll need a fair bit more experience and relative success in the Premier League before Liverpool even considered him. Let's hope he gets that experience and success with Blackpool. In fact let's hope he doesn't leave full stop.

None of the overseas managers coming in have any Premier League experience, not that I want him to go anywhere.

Will Critch have the same success with a Prem Team?
He's a coach for younger players who are wanting to learn the game. That's where his success is.
If he took over a team bulging with many foreign Internationals would they follow his coaching methods?
It would be interesting to see.
But not for at least 5/8 years. 😄
I totally agree but may I respectfully suggest 15 to 20 years. Gives us a chance to do the Quadruple,inc the European cup.as well as winning the Prem 3or 4 times. ( oh heck ,why did you have to wake me up?}

There is no way he leaves Blackpool and becomes Liverpool manager, there would have to be another step in between.

I meant experience at a higher level
not necessarily experience in the prem
Most overseas managers come from the top leagues in their respective countries
Like you I hope Critch goes nowhere

I know long term loyalty is not fashionable these days, but still, this kind of thread is very unsettling.

If he stays at Blackpool, it would be a huge call for Liverpool to appoint him straight from a club of that stature

Patronising twot.

Gerard might blow his chance at Villa, a world between managing in a league of two and the lower half the of the PL.

Agree with above, pressure is on Gerrard now, he needs to be seen to really improve Villa in the interim period between now and Klopps eventual departure or his stock will fall.
He was seen as a great success at Rangers because of last seasons title win and euro run but his end result of winning one domestic trophy out of 9, as one horse in a supposed 2 horse race doesn’t look good to me. St.Johnsone won more trophies than Rangers in that period!
I see (and hope) NC continue to take us forward, football is a funny old game and who knows at Klopps time of leaving LFC we could even be in a higher division than AV or at least the same division.
Critch may well be the obvious replacement. Whatever happens it will be a sorry day when he leaves us and I’m enjoying the ride.
