On holiday. Think he'd just had enough of missing out in the play offs and then losing his better players. Was linked with the Fulham job and I thought he might get the England U21 development role but that's gone to Lee Carsley now.

I thought Swansea were after John Eustace QPR assistant but it sounds like he turned them down which doesn't bode well for whatever it is they're offering.

Yeah, just been reading up on it. 2 seasons out of the PL usually means big trouble for a club that has tried to bounce back. Russel Martin (MK Dons) has turned them down. Says a lot.
 
Not something I've followed closely.

It was John Terry the other day when he left Villa to take the job and now it's Russell Martin.

Not read or heard anything about Critchley but wouldn't have a clue.
 
Can’t see it, he’s got everything built for him here, and pretty much a free hit season in the championship with us - if he gets us top half next season, some very big clubs will come knocking
 
I think Critch will be on a few radars but I think this will be his pivotal season. If he can get us in the Top 10 then I think he'll be a sought after man.
