Crowd Rating for Saturday?

6.5 for me - great start, brilliant after the goal, went quiet for long periods of the second half but drowned out the Reading fans when they chirped up and a decent end.
Not much to cheer about second half but I guess that's when the players need us most.

By our standards its was poor, 4/10.

We've got so many levels we can go up and I expect us to next time.

Not sure if hoggy was there... drumming seemed different and subdued but might just be the atmosphere.

It was very poor, but I think there are reasons. Transfer disappointments, uninspiring opponents and being under the cosh for a lot of the second half meant it was very nervy. We'll improve, as will the team.

Does anyone on this thread keep a record of each game’s crowd scores and performances in a notebook ?

I, for one, think it would make for very interesting reading 🤔

Not sure exactly, but it looked around 7-800 ish to me. We have a core of 10k home fans and that hasn't changed really from last season, which is good to see considering the prices have increased.
Plus it was still lower than I thought, probably a lot on holiday etc but still expected more. We've had a poor summer so... is what it is.

It'll improve.

Hoggy wasn’t there, I’d give the crowd 5/10. We’ve had a very unsettling summer with whats gone on and the normal buzz isn’t quite there at the moment but I’m sure we’ll be back to normal crowd standards. UTMP

Slightly off the subject, but four Reading fans got on my bus at Manchester. Due to the rail strike they had travelled from Reading to Birmingham, Brum to Manchester then Manchester to Blackpool. Either true fans of crackers. 😋 But, well done to them. They were staying overnight then going home by train.

As mentioned Hoggy was on holiday ( I assume) and it’s amazing how much motivation he gives with his drumming.
The replacement drummer tried but ineffective.

I think it was more the number that disappointed me rather than the noise made. If there were about 800 Reading fans then there were only 1500 fans 'turned up' on the day. Holidays will have played a part but you'd expect a few more on the day (even a few holidaymakers). Don't know if Swansea are good travellers but would hope they'd bring a few more and if we can get something at Stoke on Saturday that this might swell the numbers.

High time Simon and Ben stood up for what is right and funded tangerine clapstix for the South and West IMO 👍
