Crowds will suffer

And it doesn’t matter how many people say real supporters go regardless or we waited 5 years to be able to go again, it ain’t fair on Sadler etc etc. Apart from a hardcore lots of other people make a choice whether to go or not and with both the season over and the dire football on offer increasingly more people will take the decision to not attend including season ticket holders

Gland someone’s happy with the way things are going and blaming the fans. 😴
The performance is not all the fans fault, but they must share a little bit of the burden as they were singing “we’re fcking sht” last night.
That’s got to do some bad to the players, it’s not gonna help.

Simon Sadler may have to make a decision sooner or later about SG as the owner of a potential thriving business called BFC pulled from the brink under previous owners. There’s always talk about whether a manager has lost the dressing room but in SGs case he may have, but he appears to almost lost the support of the majority of fans listening to that last night. If the product that the paying customers is not served up to standard then they will not be happy as is the case with the hospitality after the ’Burgergate‘ scandal on Boxing Day. l will always go though to support my team although I’m not happy with the product at the moment!

I enjoyed the first half and thought we created enough chances to go in 3 up....The second half was a mess....Not sure we competed as well all over the pitch in the secod half.

It wasn't dire or dross though and it was entertaining for periods......

Fair points Blood.

I think the honeymoon is pretty much over and we are back to where almost every club is in terms of when people chose to go. We can all go on about 'true' supporters, but for this club to be successful it needs to appeal to all those who don't get season tickets or go each week just as much as to the hardcore who are able to and do go whatever and whenever.

For those who decide to go or not in the days before the games the decision is form based, for the most part. If the form is rubbish and the manager/players aren't doing it then a lot of people won't spend their hard earned cash. Simple enough.

Sadler knows all this I'm sure, and him and his management team will fully understand the financial impacts. Up to Sadler if he sticks it out with Grayson and whatever long term plan they have, or forces a change in the hope of faster improvements.

Problem is that Sadler has fully backed SG in the Jan window to overhaul the squad not just tweak it . Can't see SS making a decision until new squad has had a fair chance under SG. I'd say he has 6 games to prove he's up to it . If we get the odd win (6 points)he'll be safe , if not a change may happen . Having said all that , SS did say it was a 2 year plan so will probably give SG until Oct ,Nov next season to prove he is capable(unless we get relegated)

I think the most compelling argument against Grayson staying is that when a manager gets to this point and the fans don't want him, his players looked like they were fed up and didn't wanna be there either, there isn't any coming back from it. Im afraid he is the architect of his own downfall. He is negative, boring, uninspiring and his team reflect that.
Why keep him. We aren't going up, we wont go down, unless our next manager isn't available until the summer I see no reason whatsoever in persisting with him and to be honest just p*ssing the fans off having to turn up and watch that cr*p on a Saturday afternoon.
