I suspect people will fall into one of three camps.Has this made anyone change their mindset on the lockdown? I'm being honest but kind of makes me think what's the point now! It's not so much what Cummings has done, but it's the support he has received from high profile colleagues that has got to me. In fact, I'll just tell the wife that's it's ok to go and drive 100 odd miles to see her parents and family that we havent seen for months. Cos, it is ok right?
A lot will just say; in that case fuck the lockdown.
Others will be annoyed but still think the lockdown is the right policy, so will reluctantly continue to abide by it.
I suspect most will broadly continue as before, but when it comes to the difficult questions like whether to visit parents, children and grandchildren, they’ll be more inclined to think “why not?” And it’ll be because of Cummings and his arrogance.
