I remember well that afternoon in the early seventies against the aussies on the last couple of hours of the final day when play resumed after heavy rain on a drying uncovered wicket.

Remember after yet another batting collapse vs WI in the 70's my dad would say everything is fine now as Derek strolled out to the wicket. Played in a great Kent side that Lancs had many a one day battle with.
