🔸 4/12 - Luton (H)
🔸 11/12 - Derby (A)
🔸 18/12 - Peterborough (H)
🔸 26/12 - Huddersfield (A)
🔸 29/12 - Middlesbrough (H)

Some decent fixtures and maybe not as hard as Novembers - looking at those, we’ve got to be targeting at getting 9-10 realistically? 4 of those below us and ‘Udders only a point better off at this stage.
Hopefully we’ve got the confidence and players fit to do it.

We've picked up points unexpectedly against the better sides in the league, and I suspect we'll drop points in these five that we might expect more from.

🔸 4/12 - Luton (H) - 1
🔸 11/12 - Derby (A) - 0
🔸 18/12 - Peterborough (H) 3
🔸 26/12 - Huddersfield (A) 1
🔸 29/12 - Middlesbrough (H) 0

I know that seems pessimistic, but I just think we're so badly lacking goals and a goal threat at the moment that we're really going to struggle to put a run of wins together. Our defence will mean we can keep the point tally ticking over which at this stage is all we need to do. If we make it to January with 32 points we'll be well on the way to consolidating in our first season back in the championship.

Need to start hitting the back of the net much more often.⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

I'll be happy with 6 points, I can't see it happening though, not over the Christmas period. Still, history shows we make it up in the new year.

If we can be around 35 points then it will be a fantastic achievement and only a disaster will send us down.
We have Hull on New Year’s Day too just in case of points shortfall.

I reckon we will revert back to 442 as this is how we've played well and got a decent points tally up yo now, or play 41212 wide with connelly as a lone cdm, Carey as cam and 2 strikers, probably madine a lavery, or we'll play 4231 again and our attacking play will click!

We'll win all our remaining games because we are tangerine wizards/bastards.

Josh Bowler will wake up and realise he can pass as well as dribble, Keshi will take the piss. Fit again Lavery will run twice as hard as anyone in football. Maxi will return and prompt the quicker play from the back. Tricky Uncle Dickie will be back playing no 10 from a central defensive role.

It will be all good.

All will fall to the tangerine tsunami...

We could score no goals and get 5 points actually 🤣

I think we'll get around 10.
I hope you`re right .To get 10 points we would need to win 3 and draw 1 of the next 5.
That means we need to start scoring a lot more than of late. The problem is in this league I don`t think Madine or Yates nor our current midfield players are capable of creating or scoring many so we will have to hope our defence can continue to concede very few and that Lavery can regain his goal scoring touch otherwise we`re in trouble.

Reckon Keogh has been more sorely missed than we think. And we need to boss midfield and dictate the play. We rely too much on a smash and grab long (ish) ball approach. Maybe a defensive midfield holder a la Barry Feguson ... Makelele, Henderson, Phillips. Tackling, winning possession and distributing. Just sayin' ...

I was thinking earlier about how we could use a Barry Ferguson right now, a bit of authority and calmness.

Could this be our defining month of the season as we head into the business end? I think so. November was a good month given the teams we had to face but that loss to a bang average Brum team really emphasised the need to get quality in the final third and start scoring again, but we can do it👍
