Conceding less than a goal a game in this season is why we are in this high position. NC and CC deserve all the applaudits so let's hope we keep it going. Even though weve done the double on Sunderland I'd be happy to miss them in the playoff. Ideally for me I'd like to play Oxford in the semi and Lincoln in the Final.

The transformation in Thorniley is nothing short of brilliant given his start to the season. l always thought he was a decent player but he was slow and forever getting caught on the wrong side, hence the reason why he became the forgotten man. NC and the coaching team have transformed him into the player he is now steady, reliable, confident and he’s been magnificent since 👏👏👏👏

Agree about Thorniley, he’s done really well when we needed him to step up. I had doubts about Maxwell at the start of the season but, credit where it’s due, he’s been fantastic. I’d like him to dominate the goal area a bit more, but he has proved to be a very good keeper (Steve Banks’ influence).

I voiced my concerns about Maxwells height. We conceded a lot of goals on corners and crosses early on.
The coaches have done something in how we line up on corners (not sure what) and free kicks (high line??) that has reduced the risk and it worked.

His shot stopping, distribution and position as a sweeper is Premier League quality. I mean that without emotion - he is similar to those much vaunted greed league keepers when you watch him carefully in those aspects.

Looks like the coaches particularly Banksy who was great himself and not huge in height have worked out how to help him / team on crosses.
