never thought it was going to be an easy task but being 1-0 up and then 5th early on, and to find out we would have made the play offs if we had won is gutting and deflating. Second half capitulation was terrible. Having said that they were on top ever since we scored really.

I hate this league, but let’s hope we come back stronger next year. My concern is we won’t and others will.

Reading, Charlton and Wigan are three times I am already tipping to do much better next year. Can we? I am not so sure.

Anyway, I am so pissed off after that. Was fantastic at 1-0 and the second half was just ridiculous - particularly the 2 goals so close together.

Fair play to Reading. Very good atmosphere from them today for a nothing end of season match.

Roll on August 10 I suppose. A nice break in the summer and focus on euros will help me gain my enthusiasm back for next season.

Critchley needs to watch how teams at the top played against teams at the bottom as that was our main flaw this season.

The point about Reading and Wigan is a good one. Both hobbled by points deductions this time out.

I wonder if it would have been better if we’d lost to the likes of Fleetwood and Carlisle - I said it at that time and got shot down - but a bad end to the season would have put massive pressure on Critch whereas now he ‘just missed out’

Being realistic i am glad we have not made the play offs/ promoted as watching some of the Championship games this season nearly every team is miles ahead of us, we would get paggered every week....!
