Devitt to Newport County

I'd like to know just how much money is being saved by sending these players out on loan. I doubt for example that Tranmere are paying any more than 20% of Feeney's wages.

I can't help thinking Devitt might be better than some of the players who haven't been frozen out without a kick. 🤔
Agree Voy, given his record at Carlisle from midfield he can't have been too bad. Always would like to see a coach try and improve a player rather than just discard them at the first opportunity.

Come now Voy! You aren’t suggesting Critch has difficulty judging players are you?
No, I'm suggesting that I don't understand what's happened. He was the only player who was told straight away to find another club etc. I wanted to at least see him prove he wasn't good enough to me! 😆 Seems odd. But, in Critchley we trust!

Why Devitt was not in the squad numbers
Suspect we will also be paying some of his wages
It’s possible he wasn’t given a squad number so his wages are not part of the playing squad and was getting paid out of a different pot. I maybe wrong with this though.

The amount of players who have been and gone over the last 12 months without what I would call been given a chance is bordering on embarrassing.

I would throw nuttall and hardie into that category as well. I was astonished nuttall had 27 appearances on wiki for us. But I bett he never started 3 games back to back to build up confidence. And hardie as well. Id love to see hardie back here.

Add in tollit, the chap from Solihull, the winger from Bradford. Cannot even remember names now!!!

And there will players like howe and Thorniley who seem to be frozen out without having a crack.

The point you make is good Voy, with this massive turnaround it is inevitable some of the players we lose may be better than we kept on.

I suppose it shows how single minded the head coach is

Thorniley had a really good game against Accrington. Critchley said not long ago the squad players when given a chance must prove they should be in the team. Then against Ipswich he dropped Thorniley and played his bestie, Turton, out of position in place of you know who! What the f*** is going on.

Thorniley did, and it was a great recovery from a torrid game he had against Barrow.

Nice to see him doing well. Seems like a good lad from what I've seen on Twitter of him. Congratulating Yates when he got his 1st goal and he's doen a few things for the fans. Just didn't work out for him with us.
