Did the club profit from the January window?

Funny isn't it that twelve months ago, Owen turned down £750k for Tilt, brought in a few players and yet he was still the villain of the peace (and quite right as well).

12 months on, and looking at the business of the last month, I am just wondering with the sales of Tilt and Thompson and the departures arguably outweighing the arrivals in terms of personnel, could I be so bold as to suggest the club might have actually made a little profit in this window?

You may be right, but the money made is largely irrelevant. The important question is, is the squad stronger after the transfer window than it was before.

The answer is yes.

Absolutely this. This squad is good enough for top ten, MINIMUM. Fail to do so Grayson should go. Simple as that
