Did you enjoy watching on iFollow?

How did everyone 'enjoy' watching Saturday's game? Not sure why but I felt utterly removed from the game. I've enjoyed watching us on TV before but this just felt an utterly soulless experience. It might improve but I think I might go back to watching Soccer Saturday!

I enjoyed it because it was blackpool. I would have likely been there though.

Cricket aside, I'm struggling to watch any sport without fans. I'm not sure I've watched a neutral game since whenever footie has come back.

Watching NFL now, and again without fans in general its poor. Especially the lack of cheerleaders but that's another issue altogether......

I enjoyed it because it’s the closest we can get at the moment, and because it’s my team, it’s a new team and I’m excited by what I’ve seen so far. As said above I’m not enjoying watching any neutral games....however listening to neutral games on the radio is ok as is the cricket.

it was fine on my laptop no problems we know its not the same without the fans but its making the best of a bad situation it helps keep fans connected to there club it would be very easy to just lose all interest in football if we didnt and clubs would start to go under they may still do.

It was ok and did the job. My only issue was with the Radio Lancs commentary. I’d prefer it we could have our own specific commentary team at the game and not have to listen to the Goal Action bollox from Morecambe or Accrington every 5 minutes.

I'd rather watch on ifollow than not at all but would much rather be there. I can't get into the whole game when someone else decides which bit to put on the screen.

I enjoyed watching. Good to see the new players and exciting brand of football Critch is implementing. Got absorbed by the play and forgot about no crowd. There’s no way I would have travelled to Plymouth so a bonus.

I get too much buffering through the fire stick, have watched the games on my phone (except the Liverpool game which worked perfectly).
Not the best way to watch, but better than nothing.

I enjoyed it more than I expected to be frank.

No tech problems once I realised it wasn’t a late kick off and I needed to move and click the mouse whilst shouting.

At least I missed their goal.

Ifollow is ok... weird without fans at games however and only watching cos it's us playing. Can't imagine being bothered to sit through a game as a neutral!

There's not much choice really is there? Mine blacked out just after their goal. If I'd have been in the ground and went for a piss I wouldn't have minded missing a minute or two but sat watching a black screen with that revolving circle just drove me a bit nuts... 😡

It is what it is a streaming site with crap commentary from a Local Radio station.
I seriously don't understand when we had nothing before how anyone can criticize it because a TV production costs big money far more than the few grand we take in on one of our games.

I think the issue relates to the fact nearly every instance I've seen of people on here complaining about ifollow is actually related to issues at the user end... which results in people getting a poor impression of ifollow... especially if they're not tech savvy.

I blame the user more than the product been using it since it came out watched cup games and midweek and never had a problem.
People are used to SKY/BT and want the same product for the ten pounds it ain't happening as yet.

I found it quite good, no tech problems and nearly £8 of my tenner apparently goes to the club (hope that's right)
I'm guessing that's a lot more than the club would get when the Sky cameras are there
For a tenner, I can cope with the odd score update from Morecambe, even if it was slightly annoying.

For the record... if anyone has had any issues relating to ifollow viewing I'm more than happy to help. Don't want a fellow fan to miss out on the action.

If you don't want to ask personally then the most surefire way to watch the mighty is over a fixed connection (using an ethernet cable directly connected to the router) with a decent internet connection on a laptop or pc. From there... you could link your device up to a tv with a HDMI cable and reap the rewards.

It was good but would have been better, as mentioned above, without the interuptions from other games but the best change they could have made would have been to sit the commentator on the same side of the pitch as the camera!

Not sure about that Dave the home team gets around 30k (away team 10k) in Lge1 for putting on a live game but as we know it's not very often.
Can't see us raising that type of cash especially as plenty I know watched it for free on a Kodi stick.

Must say I thought everything about the pictures from Bloomfield Road were so much better than at Plymouth!

It’s rubbish ,only watch because I’m a mad pool fan ,could not do this on a long term basis ie all season,I’d rather go and watch afc Blackpool in the flesh .Something needs to get sorted before football clubs die

Well, me and my two boys really enjoyed it. We've paid for just about all of pre-season (joined LFC for the free month).

Laptop, HDMI cable into the TV, using second screen only and it was a perfectly acceptable 720p on a 50" screen.

Once I sorted the audio by switching to the far superior away commentary (notwithstanding the fact that out of principle Chissy is banned in our house) it was fine. For a while there was no commentary and just fans and that was even better. That should be an option I think.

I am struggling to watch any other sport, but it feels the next best thing to being there for us.

I hope that we can build on the 1000 in and make sure we get the North stand season ticket holders in the East as it sounded like a decent atmosphere even if we know it's not.

£3.33 per viewer in my house is good value for money.

First time for me and glad that the fans attending made it quite a decent experience, was a good game, good result and didn’t mind Scott Reid and Chisnall commentary at all - will use it again for sure even if I was a technical incompetent at the start and missed the first 5 minutes because I thought the coverage was live at the time. Thought it was odd the game hadn’t kicked off dead on 3 then realised I was lagging! Dur brain me.

It's OK. Will be better now I know I can turn Chissy's commentary off, which was slightly ahead of the picture. Also it was a little 'jerky' which took some getting used to. Rather be there of course.

Bearing in mind how it looks like we won't be in BR as an entire fan base until next season iFollow really is a God send and the companies should maybe invest a bit more in to it to make it a 'proper fan experience'. They could even use @SonOfTAM's feed pre-match, half time and full time just to add something to it.

Watched it on my IPad no technical issues, I did however turn the annoying commentary off for a while. Otherwise very good, but don’t watch sky sports at the same time as they can report the goal before it is shown as the steam is clearly a bit behind real time.

Not gonna lie, having my mum sat next to me telling me "They can't hear you." everytime I shouted at the TV wasn't my favourite, but it's better than not being able to watch the game at all. Good to see a win as well.

Just imagine what it would be like if we didn't have ifollow?
I can now in theory watch every game this season, legally, which is better than a poke in the eye with a sh 1tty stick, as the saying goes.
With a return to watching live football not now looking likely anytime soon I would like to see the EFL investing a little bit of money in producing an improved product though.
I expect very little from the EFL however and they rarely disappoint me.
They can't even reply to an e-mail I sent 10 days ago.

I enjoyed it because it was Blackpool and I really miss watching them. The picture quality was great, although the commentary being a couple of seconds ahead of the video was a little annoying. Nothing beats being in the stadium though!

Quick question - can you buy more than one game? Is there any sort of season ticket available bearing in mind it looks like we're in this for the long haul?

Agree with you. I've given up watching any other football. Watch BFC on ifollow and that's all.

iFollow is okay. It's better than never watching it like before bar midweek games. It should be something every fan can buy. And buy a season ticket too.

I am up for that haha!

Agreed and I can honestly say all last season and so far this it's worked flawlessly for me.

This going to other games never happened pre Covid.

Have to say as someone who only managed 7/8 games a season because of distance/work, this is arguably the best thing that has ever happened. By the look of it I am going to be able to watch every game this season. Whilst I'll miss the live game, this is such a good option. Surely if it starts generating decent money for clubs they'll keep it in place to help plug the financial gaps left this season.
