Do we have a leader on the pitch?

Not sure we have one off the pitch watching the managers interviews. He looks lost for ideas already and comes across very flat .... . I can’t see how he puts drive into the players before games.

I've said it since the beginning we need an outfield captain and leader , no passion or urgency and at the moment very poor all round

Just posted in the nearly there thread.

That's the most obvious thing missing for me.
A player to get stuck into the opposition, the officials and our own players. It's missing, but when you assemble a squad based on its potential , it's not surprising.

Can’t agree more and it’s becoming glaringly obvious with each and every game that we need a strong leader on the pitch, notwithstanding our inability to score goals and flood the opponents box to get those opportunities.

The whole body language seems poor. Most of them look like a rabbit caught in the headlights. Head's dropped immediately after conceding the goal and we hardly mounted an attack in last ten minutes. Crying out for a leader on the pitch.

No leader off the pitch either. The Mansford, Johnson, Critchley combo should be sacked. Sadler must be raging at the dross he's seeing. I know many supporters are!
