Apparently this is taking place across the country this summer.Drag queens visiting local libraries to speak to young children in the guise of story telling.

They are due to visit Blackpool libraries on August 13th.

Well Highfield school had a cross dressing headmaster after I left apparently, so I guess it doesn't matter, getting the inclusive message out. What about having strippers 😬

I’m sure they could tell a few stories and they are used to sitting on laps. 😬
 
The world has become a different place to when my kids were at school - never mind me!
If this helps to educate children to become more understanding and tolerant, then it's a good thing and as Lytham says, if residents don't want their kids to be exposed to this, then don't send them.
