where does this appointment leave dunn, will he work with Critchley or is he on his way,got to say in his 4 games in charge we have seen a massive improvement, could be down to new players settling in who knows, hope he's retained in some position

Maybe he would stay as Critchley's No 2 for rest of the season? And if it works beyond that? Or maybe he walks with his head held high? Time will tell.

Must admit, I haven't seen a massive improvement at all.
I've witnessed 2 injury time goals against the run of play, thee euphoria of which, suddenly changed peoples whole view of the game.
Anyway, it should be up to Critchley who he has on the coaching staff.
Whether that includes Dunn remains to be seen.

Dewsbury Hall’s comments last week spoke volumes. The players obviously respect Dunne, as opposed to Grayson, who, in my opinion had lost the dressing room, with his dour tactics. I hope Dunne stays in some capacity.

Critchley and Dunn are both quiet blokes though? Does it need a bigger character in the mix?

Stating the obvious but I think Critchley should have whatever backroom staff that he wants - within reason.

If he doesn't want Dunn then we should pay him off and if he does want Dunn then we should encourage Dunn to stay.

If he doesn't want to work with Dunn then he shouldn't have to do so just because Dunn has taken 7 points out of 9 and appears to have impressed a few folk on a supporters forum.

Just to say if DD moves on he can go with his head held high and the thanks of all Blackpool fans.I hope there will be a place for him at Bloomfield Rd.Im sure he has a great future in football as a coach.

Why?
Not everyone needs to be an Ian Holloway, Brian Clough, Jose Mourinho or Neil Warnock.

Pep Guardiola is one of the quietest managers going yet he's not doing too bad.

If you're picked for a job I'm sure part of the job description doesn't ask for someone as quiet as a church mouse or as mad as a hater!!!

I just asked the question. Pep can pretty animated actually.

Everyone has their own style I suppose, but as a coach you can get away with being everyones mate... I don't think that works as a Manager. I'm also not sure exactly how the dynamic of the second in command being the 'bad cop' as described elsewhere would work..... For me it's the Manager who needs to set the tone and command the respect of the players...

Such a "massive improvement"(lol) that the crowd were chanting "One Ian Evatt" because of Dunn's decision making.🤣
Look at the matchday thread for further evidence of fan unrest......until the late save and injury time goal went in.😃
