Embleton not in the Sunderland team or bench today.. probably just a squad rotation and looking at it only 3 senior players in the team. however it winds the Sunderland fans up not knowing. keep a look out for him tonight, he might just be watching the Burnley game at Bloomfield road..đź‘Ť

He can score goals like Kevin de Bruyne, and will improve under Critchley as he did towards the end of the season. Sign him up.

I thought play off goal apart Embleton was ok for us and I'm sure would improve but I'm not sure I'd pay that for an ok league 1 player. I just think we can and should get much better. I absolutely agree we still need that central cultured creative type attacking midfielder in the mould of KDH but I think we will have to rely on a good loan to bring in that type of player. In the meantime between keshi, demi, cj, bowler I think we are covered on the flanks.

I liked EE last season, and I would like to see him back here.
But if we haven't improved on our offer, then I 100% trust the club with their decision, as I now do with everything else
He was in and out of games, although Sunderland fans seem to only remember the goal against Oxford plus his recent impressive performances in Friendlies.
The lad is from Durham, so it's possible that he prefers to stay up there. The loan move looks like it has helped all parties. Good luck to the lad, time to move on imo.

I think BFC should start to bill clubs a loan fee as we clearly turn their employees into much better players.
What I do think is that clubs will increasingly see the huge value in loaning us players, and that will enable us to pick and choose and drive a hard bargain. Arsenal may have done us a good deal for TJJ due to the benefit we gave to Ballard, for example. We are actually doing Arsenal a really good service, why should we pay his wages? I wonder what the deal is?

Everton will see us as a prime place for their better youngsters to get senior football given Simms' development here.

Need to buy if possible, there is not as much long term benefit in us improving other teams players to the point they are then out of reach financially.

It's a blend, mostly developing our own players but using a few high flyers from the big clubs at minimal or no cost that are better than what we can buy. I think.

I don't know Tangy, seriously. If loans can help get us to a place (Prem) where we have good money, then that might have to be the plan.
