Loved the fact he was getting really frustrated last night (as I think we all have been a bit this season) with the way our players on the edge of the 18 yard box (to quote Brett) "don't put their laces through the ball". We know from some of the goals we've scored this season we have players capable of it but maybe they just need some Ormerod words of wisdom.

TBF, cant remember Brett scoring much from outside the box.

It's great to see a Pool player shoot from the edge of the area, and I can agree with Brett to an extent. Sometimes, when there is only one defender before the keeper, It's also good trying to burst through with the ball, because once the ball goes past the last defender, anything is possible. The main thing is to see 'The Mighty Pool' becoming more direct, with goals galore.
