England v India 2nd Test

My comms have gone so I have no idea what's going on, turned to the BBC and theirs is broken as well. Just the live feed working.

Oh well here we go again both Root and Brook to pass 100 before lunch. remember you heard it here first. If it doesn't happen then forget I said it. Agash Deep will open the bowling with a no ball.

Err... Ooops Wicket. Root c Pant b Siraj 22 (Eng 84-4) What I meant to say was Brook and Stokes will make centuries before lunch.

Double Ooops Wicket. Stokes c Pant b Siraj 0 (Eng 84-5). Obviously I meant Smith and Brook to... oh never mind.

Smith up to 90 and has 3 balls left to score the fasrest test century in history. Bah a single I don't think he knows.

150 partnership up as Chunky regrets his lack of faith in Bazball.
Hahaha yes. I'm getting pelters off my mate who is there. Photos of a bar, food and scoreboard and a few choice expletives coming my way.....

I think I posted in the last test thread how I loved Jamie Smiths approach to it. Like a non-convict Gillchrist

100 for Harry Brook he doesn't get to take a bow because he didn't manage it before lunch. 273-5

Lancashire Lightning squad to face Northamptonshire Steelbacks:

Keaton Jennings (c), James Anderson, Jack Blatherwick, Jos Buttler, Chris Green, Tom Hartley, Matty Hurst, Michael Jones, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Phil Salt, Ashton Turner, Luke Wells, Luke Wood

Some team if all the "superstars" play and are in form!

Leave the rest to Bill and Missing Link

Wow. Some squad that. Rare as rocking horse pooh we get all of them together. Scary batting line up.

I was there yesterday with Poultonbus and two other staunch Seasiders after a false start the day before. The less said about that the better..... Not a lot to cheer about cricketwise, but the crowd was in in form including a great mash up from the Barmy and Bharat Army musicians, we had about 10 pints of Praha each, and thanks to PB, a generous portion of Uncle Dave's Sausage. A cracking time had all round despite PB's scandalous lack of respect for the red ball game. You can't beat a test match for a grand day out.

Whoops, I nodded off as ever I think it's tea. A very boring session as both should have a double century by now. The stand is now worth 271. They'll have to get a jog on if they want their double centuries Stokes could declare at any time at all including now!
