There were articles as recently as November 2020 hopefully predicting Bridlington would become the European capital of shellfish. It's a classic example of how one-sided selfish, thinking (not realising there has to be a buyer for you to be a seller) leads to disaster. Sums Brexit up.I think that it is pretty clear that the Bridlington shellfish company will not 'gradually replace' it's EU customers with other customers because it has just gone out of business making all of it's staff redundant. The owners blame Brexit.
This story is gaining momentum. The Yorkshire Post below expressing some concern and asking for a renegotiation. I thought that we had got Brexit done.
