Yes, in part. Sacking NC had huge implications, of course it may still happen, but then it brings BM and his role into the spotlight.

I'm certain that wouldn't be desirable from a BM pov.

Hopefully on the pitch stuff will get massively better- I expect it to, but the off pitch management scrutiny won't go away.

I think this is a big big thing. Self preservation is Mansfords priority. I just don’t trust him at all irrespective of how many high fives he’d get walking around Turkey. There is something of the night about him IMO.

the project stays credible but results will improve when Coach Calders imposes himself on the first team and Coach Critchers. It’s the right call and you called it founts👍

62..some use to say I wasn’t happy until I was miserable...but then I retired...in your case I feel retirement isn’t going to help but then you might already be🤔.

As a Blackpool fan for actually over 62 years...ok the first few were as a kid( 70 next year) I have been through many lows and some great highs but that is what being a true fan is all about...and I wouldn’t swap it for any other club.

I'm really hoping the on field stuff gets loads better- Saddler deserves it, even if he's short term (wouldn't blame him, read on). You can't be that far away and feel the day to day. BM could be playing him to an extent.

So if we start winning that will be because of Calderwood? Unless you had a household name, I doubt anyone would have any sort of impact on the first team for several weeks. No manager of any quality goes in shouting the odds until he has a chance to see whats's wrong first.
Over time it might prove a useful appointment. But over time Critchley may have got it right himself. Now we may never know.

If we can show the same urgency from Tuesday combined with a passing game and keeping 11 men on the pitch then we'll do well this season irrespective of Calderwood.

I thought this may have happened but possibly in December/January had results not improved. Let's hope it proves to be a good move.

You can track the start of the poor results back to the change in BD Room.... Something went wrong...

Most likely to do with the recruitment policy if you ask me, which is a shambles...

We reacted with Grayson, we fannied around with the replacement, we’ve signed and fucked off far too many players...I mean is it any wonder the Team is struggling really... there’s no real continuity

It’s all ** flashing lights and fancy seats... Zero substance, zero credibility, zero experience...

Hopefully they’ll all learn on the Job sooner rather than later or get lucky... cos fuck knows it won’t be by design!!
 
It does make you think WTF is going on! We could all see we needed someone experienced alongside NC so voila. We can also all see we need an experienced player or two in the squad,, a midfielder and a centre half. and I would say we need some experience in the boardroom, a football man. It's all a bit naive at the moment. I guess that's understandable. It's early days and everyone is learning. I'm still not sure NC saw CC coming and has been broadsided by this. it's going to be an interesting couple of months.
