That's quite a stack of results for them recently. All the ex Blackpool lads paying off for them it would seem. Defence tightened up with Baps and the ageless Gilks and the Fonz mesmerising defences up front.
No spare games to play with but a couple of wins against the teams in the top 6 and they could be right in the mix come the end of the season
Would seem its not too big a job too early for Evo after all. Managerially it twould seem he's got his head screwed on

was thinking something similar myself.
Four ex Pool players started tonight for them, they are coming good at the right time.

There is this absolute turmoil inside me when I see they've won, I'm happy for Evo but its such a shame he's at THEM - he's making it hard to want them to fail miserably!

Top 7 in League Two by the way.

Think Evo has beneffited from no crowds beings present, the natives would have been calling for his head a few months ago.
100%. He would have been sacked months ago under normal circumstances, to be fair Critchley would have been under more pressure as well. Not saying that's right, but would have been fans on both their backs and its a lot more difficult for owners/chairman to stick with a manager when the crowd turns.
