Morning All
Martin Booker has let me know that shirts will be available to collect tomorrow from.the club at a small event from 6pm to 7pm.
Just posting this for transparency to see if you are all OK with me going down to collect?
I guess we then have to decide on what we do with the shirts. Think there is 4.
Please post thoughts as I have to respond to Martin ASAP as not much time.
 
FWIW I think you should go and enjoy the hour.

The three charities should do something together with you.

The last one needs to be either raffled amongst those who contributed - I don't care how much you put in, one ticket per person.

It's the easiest and fairest way to do it I think.

Well done; I'm sure we'll repeat the exercise this year as it gave us all a bit of a stake in the players.
 
I'll take pictures of the shirts when I'm back home with and we can make decisions on them then. Personally, think the 3 charities should get a shirt each and then ? With the other. Cheers.

Agree with the charities getting three shirts. I'd be tempted to raffle off the other at a fiver a ticket, with the proceeds going towards this year's sponsorship? Do we get first refusal on the Viking?

Yes we do. We get first refusal on all last seasons sponsored players. Martin will give me the details tomorrow.
 
Can we auction one off for The Armfield Support Group, I would be happy at that do you what you think is best for the rest. 👍

You did a fantastic job with raising the money i think most people will be happy with what you decide.
 
They look great and to think that WE did that.

I hope the the charities use them to raise funding, but if they just want then to decorate an office, well that's fine too.

I especially like the fact that we haven't forgotten Parky; given the way he was treated by his employers at the time, it feels as though it's another slate wiped clean.

Lastly, I agree with @Wizaard; the Iceman should be raffled on here at £5/ticket with the proceeds going towards this year's sponsorships.

I'll post tomorrow to gauge opinions via a poll. The most popular vote will decide what happens to the shirts as it was an AVFTT effort so the board should decide really.

Yeah I understand it would be a nightmare, tbh I would trust you to do what you think is right.(As long as The Armfield Support Group got one to auction off 😉)

It'll go to a vote pal but I will include the Armfield Support Group as one of the options.
 
I'd be tempted to auction the Dougall one off, love the viking but after Kenny used his left foot and then right foot. It might make a few more quid....! They look superb though!

Agree mate but that one was sponsored on behalf of a charity so want to donate to them but I will be encouraging the charities to auction the shirts off and I'll post details on here if they do.
