Fans Forum

With everyone using Zoom, Teams and other live meeting and conference facilities, why don't they use one of those so other fans can watch and listen to the meeting ( but not directly contibute) as it is happening? I have been on a number of MS Teams NHS Board meetings that are viewable by the public
It is easily done too, attended meetings, conferences all sorts on zoom during lockdown. Even saw the Dalai Lama one day doing a zoom talk. It is so easy to do.

Perhaps one of the official supporter club representatives can put this proposal to the club or the SLO if they see this thread?

Not only would it be a positive and transparent initiative by the club with its supporters, it may also score a few brownie points with the infamous EFL in terms of good supporter engagement and governance

I stumbled across the Plymouth one the other week, they had manager, chairman, CEO and a fan's group chap on zoom... was really good and interesting (there chairman seems like a great guy like sadler)... agree it would be great if we could have something similar

Bit disappointed with the way this is being done, tbh. Only one ticket for the MSG and top table have snaffled that. Hoped the real foot soldiers would have had a look in but seems not.

Not my bag 2020.
There's so many people off here far more capable than I am of representing AVFTT and getting answers to questions.
If I had to pick my choice then I'd nominate TD53 who although I've had occasional run ins with commands my utmost respect when it comes to all matters BFC and is capable of expressing himself so much better than I can. You only have to read his posts and blogs to realise that.
So if he we were willing to go. I'd gladly put his name forward.

Oh, you!

That's genuinely lovely thing to say but I'd say it should be a home and away fan. I go to most home games and some away but not as often as some do.

Plus, I'd go on and on and everyone would get bored lol.

It doesn't. We could put up a quick "questions from AVFTT" which we can put up on here mate.

Doesn't need to be "all on you" or whoever. Just ask what questions and report back the answers.

I really think WE (AVFTT posters) should be recognised by the club as the biggest supporters group.

When is it? Has it already happened?

Any day now the BST will send us an email asking what questions are important to us. They do represent their members after all.

Dont know if it helps but I'm doing a Zoom for Leeds national and international groups tonight and there's around 40 groups involved, all of which was easy to set up but cost a few quid to buy the Zoom package. No conditions set and everyone welcome so looking forward to it,with an open agenda and anyone can put suggestions forward.

In answer to some on here who want information about the meeting, we have an SLO who, from memory, publishes the minutes on here. It would be quite wrong for anyone to pre publish the details before the official line is released. That, in my experience, is how any meeting or negotiation is run. I'm sure those who are invited will have the gumption to represent their members properly.

AVFTT biggest group, LOL. About fifty posters on here, MSG has 2,000 members and will soon have our own club house.
