Do we think as a group they/we are more opinionated than the general run of fans? And does social media by its nature turn debate into controversy more often than it should? Discuss.

I don't think it's a fair reflection of our supporter base but it does give people a platform to say their thoughts and feelings.

Social Media is merely the transparent next step after a message board and goes to show. I thought when the person's identity was revealed on say Twitter they'd be less aggressive and hostile than when their identity was hidden on a message board but actually less so! Am amazed how confrontational - especially to players and the club - some are on Twitter.
