Come on then as our little Oxford insider. Thoughts on your team, threats, weaknesses and was CamBran really worth the hype we gave him!

He did give details on CamBran on a post I sent asking were they really paying him 12kgbp.
He confirmed the figure and said CamBran based on goals and assists was worth it. Backed up with a screenshot supporting his argument.
Posters like him from rival teams enhance the Forum in my book.
However Oxford is a long way from Manchester and he should start visiting Bloomfield road regularly instead.

Lol, less of the little though, yeh? ๐Ÿ˜…

Our team is night and day from last season, under Manning he's redirected so many players into playing confidently and it's been amazing to see.

We play a high intensity, high press game right up until the 98th minute (we've scored the most goals in the final 15 minutes in the league). Formation... been tinkering a lot with formations of late, most recently playing the often heralded (on here at least lol) 5 at the back, with Greg Leigh striding down the left (Sept' player of the month, pace, strength and goals it seems). In goal we've got James Beadle on loan from Brighton and he's been incredible to be honest. So much promise in someone so young, I'd expect him playing much higher very soon.

Yes - Brannagan has been quality this season (the leagues best performer on average), but is massively complimented by Marcus McGuane who glides about the midfield. As a pair they've ran many'a games where we've looked to dominate the possession. But to that point, we don't always aim to do that, which is a stark difference since Manning took over from Robinson. Some of the tougher games this season has seen us invite the opposition into possession and us play a much more counter attacking game. That's where the pace of Mark Harris (striker) alongside Kyle Edwards, Ruben Rodrigues, Stanley Mills (wingers) come in - able to quickly burst into attack.

In terms of threats, it's been refreshing to see so many of team contribute (12 different goalscorers!) but you'll probably want to look put for Rodrigues' incisive passes to split the lines, Greg Leigh getting to the by-line and the pace of Harris over the shoulder.

Weaknesses, probably our right back, Sam Long. He's a hardy performer but I think will often be singled out by a tricker winger - does CJ play on your left? Could be a good avenue for your lot if he's on form... In terms of chance creation, we're not the best at defending crosses, so feel a barrage into the box would probably be a good tactic, assuming Rhodes is handy at converting them?

Haha appreciate that mate. We all come to places like this to talk football ay, different views are much more interesting. ๐Ÿ‘ Not chance i'll be swapping yellow for orange tho!

I don't think anyone called George Leigh plays for Oxford. How come I knew it was Greg and you didn't? ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜„

Hmmm.... !

You get a player's name wrong twice because you're trying to do two things at once?

Oh dear! a number of very interesting posts ruined by one word. Orange ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Please note, Luton Town play in Orange, a number of clubs have orange as a second colour, Blackpool play in Tangerine. So you get a yellow card for that and 100 lines, When I refer to Blackpool FC in future I will always say it's TANGERINE not Orange.

๐Ÿ˜… It seems akin to mixing up Star Trek and Star Wars for you guys...

Just my opinion if Blackpool turn up like we know they can like they did against Wigan reading and Stevenage I have a strong feeling we can definately win at Oxford.
