Favourite Transfer Day story?

I remember Karly boy offering 2 million for Ross McCormack from Leeds. He was adamant Leeds would crumble as they needed the money but our initial bid was turned down. Most normal clubs would increase their bid but KO went in with a revised bid of 1.5 million and wanted another player thrown in with the deal. Strangely it never happened.
 
The infamous 96 year, had bids accepted for Karl Connolly from Wrexham and David Reeves from Carlisle only for Vicki to tell them they were far too busy with Owens Court Case to worry about football.........alledgedlyamundo
