Fewer than 200,000

... and he and Labour Party members took notice and immediately called a General Election... 3 years later!
That said, this situation is entirely different in nobody was questioning GB integrity/honesty or being fit for purpose.
I'm not saying that was right either. The fact remains that Boris was elected with a mandate for a specific set of policies. Each candidate has said they'll u turn on them.

I understand that viewpoint... as BJ and his government have been so vigorously opposed by yourself... maybe it’s for the better 😁...sorry I couldn’t resist a little prod at the hornets nest...😉

What‘s the point in a live TV stand off when the public don‘t get a vote 🤔

Seems like a pointless showdown to me.
Ultimately, one of them will become PM so it will be nice to see how they react under questioning.

I get that, but we can’t impact the outcome at this point so we’d find out how they actually perform in office before we get a say anyway 🙃

There is no nasty party, only nasty people, the vast majority of people and MPs are dece human beings. As in all walks of life there are regrettably some nasty people.
Which is why we should make a government of the people with all views, left, middle and right.
This first past the post system isn't making life better.
A government made up of the best people, the most intelligent people, that actually represents the voting patterns of the country is the way forward.
It would unite us and make us stronger and I ** hope Liz Truss is nowhere near it but Tugenhadt, Sunak, Badenoch might have something to offer.

7 trillion nerves in the human body and Truss managed to get on all of them.
As an outsider, I didn't mind Tom Tugenhadt (he's a military man apparently but he hides it well) or Mordaunt too much. There's an inner anger in Kemi and Sunak's a **.

Good post. I agree about the inner anger in Badenoch.
