First leg (whose positive ,&who's negative ?,)

I have a confident (not arrogant) feeling we are going to do 'em.

Come both Tuesday and Friday I will be a bag of nerves though.

From what we have seen over the past few months, we should be confident of delivering a good solid performance and getting a result. I don’t think that any other team will have been better prepared than us. Critchley seems to cover all bases so barring a fluke goal or poor refereeing decision, I believe that over the two legs we will get through.

Least nervous I’ve been for any play-off campaign - not necessarily a good sign though.

In the past I have been confident, well apart from that amazing night at forest, where I thought we would be turned over. This year I don’t know, I am more nervous than previous. But as one who is able to go in on Friday I will be very loud and proud to shout my heart out for the boys proudly wearing tangerine

Less confident about beating Oxford than I would be for either of the other two.
Why Wizaard?
What makes Oxford more worrying or a greater threat than the Makems or Imps?
I honestly cannot see Blackpool failing in these playoffs. I genuinely believe that we have more in our team than any of the other 3 sides.
The defence is watertight and we're not just relying on Yates to score the goals now.
I will be a bag of nerves on Tuesday and Friday but Blackpool will come through.

Certainly most confident I have felt in any playoff game.. think that is because of the strength in squad, nothing to do with playing Oxford etc

But PO can go any way but feeling we will go all the way... future is bright lads

Extreme negativity here I’m afraid. Would love to be proved wrong. If they take a lead into the second leg we’re done for. Our only chance is to win at their place and treat it as a one off tie as we’re not set up to attack and chase games. Oxford will win the first leg 2 nil and the second will be nil nil. Go out to win Tuesday!

Bloody hell Memphis glass proper half full bordering empty there 🥃

It’s been a great season whatever happens, and as a football club we are on the up!
No team to fear, we just need to perform on the night(s) and avoid the Rochdale/Shrewsbury performances

I agree with Doc - there’s nothing between any of the top 4 .
I personally think we’re the best team and that’s proven by us finishing where we have but it’s gonna be so tight.

nervous as hell and loving it- I didn’t have this feeling for so long why the O’s were here .

we’ve won the biggest victory and this will be unbelievable if it happens.

Bloody hell memphis - that’s like treason.
Pour yourself a strong one and believe !!!
That’s just depressed me

Positive.
It would have been better for Oxford to play last week immediately after the Burton game when they had momentum. As long as we get through the first 20 minutes I think we'll be fine.

Watched the 2-0 game to try and calm my nerves, one interesting thing was Karl Robinson being very friendly with a lot of our players, he knows our team well and I suspect wishes he had a few of them on his team.

Also Garbutt knows them well having spent a season on loan there not too long ago and he seemed very confident and didnt hesitate to say we'd beat them.

I'm trying to cling on to anything basically.

Not nervous but anxious. On paper Blackpool have the quality to win, but Oxford are playing with a lot of confidence, energy and intensity. I suspect it will be a clash of two footballing cultures: That, versus a Blackpool, more measured, cultured, technically able and patient. The first goal might be key. Coming from behind may be an issue.

Hand on heart just wish we had Grettarson rather than Thornley. That said a rested Jerry & Simms pose a real threat at the other end. Having Anderson back is another massive bonus. Positive.

Just that us and them are in form. I think we can beat them, but our record at the Kassam is terrible apart from this season.

Just so you can turn round and justify your constant negativity throughout the season.

50/50 for me.
Each of the 4 teams have earned its place on merit and are therefore good enough, and all 4 have everything to play for.
Cant call it with any assurance at all.
BUT, COYP ⚽❤️

Don't forget, we owe Oxford a knock out blow after they took 2nd spot in 1996, by one point, condemning us to the fateful games against Bradford City.🏐

Put me down as positive. Maybe slightly pensive.

I am SO proud of what we have achieved this season as a team, management, ownership & support.
I do believe we have the form and quality to go all the way, but after the nightmare of Bradford in 1996, despite the play off success subsequently I’ve a massive fear we may be one of the three disappointed sets of fans this time round.
All I do know for sure is......,..it’s been a great season whatever and a credit to all who have played their respective roles.

We are a funny lot. Even if we lose 10-0 both legs I’ll be feeling incredibly positive, the novelty of having a football club again will never wear off

Play offs can be won and lost on just 1 incident, so to that extent they are a bit of a lottery and that's why everyone is nervous and rightly so. However just look at Blackpool's record this season after the first 7 or 8 games and you can't fail to be confident. True that Oxford's season has followed a similar pattern, but we have better players all round - particularly in defence.

Whilst anything can happen on the day and Oxford undoubtedly make challenging opponents, I feel Blackpool have enough to win through. Getting more nervous as game approaches, .....and breathe deeply.

Confident about a decent result away, but less confident about the home leg.
I just hope we have been practicing pens!

Nervous excitement for me. I can be negative with world events & seeing how people are played, plus not being able to see how major issues can ever be resolved, that’s what worries me. But I’m quietly confident we can do this & believe it’s ours to lose. Our record against the better sides is excellent so a 1-3 win tomorrow night & another win at home or even a draw will do nicely. I’ll be there on Friday & I’ll do my best to make some noise. COYMP.

They are going to be buzzing and confident, until we hit them with a goal against the run of play. The crowd are rocked. They then struggle to play through us. Another professional job.

Unless you’ve got a working ‘crystal ball’, no-one knows. When the game kicks off, we should sense whether we’re good enough or not. We finished 3rd in the league. That makes us the best team in the play-offs.
So, yes. I’m a positive.

Chitting myself, hopeful but cautious.
Changed my mind 53 today 53 we won the FA Cup so a big positive from me we are going up 🍊
