Anybody having a dabble today.

I just had a quick look myself and found myself attracted to:


Forest to beat Bristol City (just over 7/4)

Swansea to beat Millwall (just under 11/8)

Oxford to beat Crewe (just under 11/8)


Please note that these are just my proposed selections that I am considering and I am certainly not recommending that any posters invest any of their hard earned on any of them.

I am always interested to know what others think of my selections and/or to hear about any of their own picks.

I am not really one for big accumulators and prefer to just to back one team, if the AVFTT massive can't convince me otherwise, I think I'll be backing Forest today.

Good luck to anybody getting involved today.
 
I fancy Bristol City away at Forest today. Forest not won a game and Bristol won all 3 in league.

That said the treble I’ve gone for is Everton, Hull and Ipswich.
 
Really really fancy Luton at home to Wycombe @ 3/4.
On two occasions over the years I have really fancied 2 teams..... they have both lost so don’t be going mad on it
 
I'm absolutely useless, I went all in on Forest and they were 2 down after 20 minutes.

Is it my fault for being a chite punter or the AVFTT punters fault for not persuading me to look elsewhere ?

I did try and warn you!

Wish I’d done Bristol on my treble instead of Ipswich though 😤

You are not wrong, you certainly did.

I came back and tried to amend my post to say as much later on but the site was playing up and I got way laid.

Although I asked for opinions, I am stubborn fecker and was never shifting from the 7/4 Forest.

I don't think I will get involved today but will post my chite next Saturday morning and put up my main fancy - you can get rich quick by laying them !!!!!!
 
Look forward to us both predicting bankers when in reality they will be failures 🤣

Looks a solid home 4 fold, fiver returns £48 on bet365.
 
Missus always does us to win 3-1 and draw 2-2. High street bookies shut so had to do it on line. 20/1 and 12/1 respectively.
I've done a six fold acca. Won't bore you with the matches as it won't come in. Can't remember last time it did.
edit to add it does include three of the teams in PR3BFC post above. though. Norwich too short a price for my liking so it doesn't include them.

Forrest cost me midweek, missed an open goal aswell 🤬

That's weird, a chap I know from the pubs Mrs does a £1 acc on all local teams and has ten bob on the Mighty to win 2-1 and 3-1, she has the same bet every week.

I haven't posted my bets since I started this thread the other week but needless to say I haven't won on any of the weeks and I'm only picking 1 or 2 teams and not doing big accumulators.

I have not looked today yet but will post on here later on if I do - you can cross my selection off your lists lads - unless of course I decide to get my nails done.

Good luck anybody getting involved and I'm always interested to hear anybodys strong fancies whether I back them or not.
 
I’ve gone for acca: Liverpool, PSG, Leipzig, Dortmund.
Then the same, with Reading added.

Also done another acca with: Liverpool H/T F/T result, PSG H/T F/T result, Dortmund H/T F/T result.
 
Just fancied a couple of quid Acca on
Blackpool
Man Utd
Reading
Cambridge Utd

Obviously all those teams come with risks and not a bet I’d be having more than a couple of quid on.

Just for info Blackpool were Evs for this game last week and now pushed out to 7/4, that’s a fair old drift in football terms and the reasons are obvious but I really fancy them to click today
