the bill to introduce an independent regulator reaches its second reading in the House of Commons. Iits not likely to be opposed ny any one on either side. We do need this ASAP. Not sure who the actual tregulator would be . or how it will work in practice. Sixty odd clubs have hit the buffers since the PL was started in 1992. Some would have gone under anyway BUT the massive financial pressures just to compete in the division above . WE were fortunate but some clubs have never been reformed . i will definetly be following this on the bbc parliament channel.
