Francois the weapon

Calm down all. Almost everyone in Parliament, including most Tory MPs, knows that Francois is an idiot. If anything it should make Johnson put his head in his hands having such a prat at his disposal.
A majority of 80, as we keep being told, and none of them are better than this?

That idiot is just desperate for recognition - any recognition will do as he knows he's not taken seriously by anyone except himself, sad man.

....... I see you couldn’t be bothered commenting on the Eric Joyce thread.
Not many people could, by the looks of it. Only 4 individuals did, one a well known ‘lefty’. Hardly indicative of a political split on the matter, I’m sure everyone finds the scumbag abhorrent.
Nothing wrong with having a pop at Francois’ words - threatening the head of our land forces with being ‘sorted out’ by an unelected government advisor? ** embarrassing for starters, and secondly shows that Cummings has too much power.

It's blatantly obvious that Johnson isn't running the country is he?
He would struggle to run the local sweet shop. Without him blaming the
the elderly on poor Wethers Original sales.

political point scoring aside, he had a point. I thought many on here were keen for public sector waste / incompetent procurement to be addressed.

Edit - it's worth listening to the 10 mins or so segment as whilst the comment is admittedly cringeworthy as above the point is valid one in that unless the MOD get their house in order then others will step in - and I'm sure we'd all agree that is a good thing

See from 15.51.20.

I can't believe that you lot are having a go at the Hero of the Charge of the Light Brigade. He didn't ride towards the Russian cannon to have the piss taken out of him on an obscure football messageboard.

I just watched that segment, didn’t quite catch what was said so went to listen again and now can’t find it. Am I being a numpty or has it been removed?

not sure what you mean.

Can you not listen from 15.51.20?

Yes, but 15:51:20 is now about 5G, not equipment procurement. Tried several times and it’s the same each time.
Could be me, I’m a bit of a technophobe, but found the clip you refer to originally, just can’t find it now.

There’s a twitter parody that does vids in the style of Samuel Pepys diaries. It’s hilarious! They also ripped the pish out of his clap for the nhs video.

Mark Ne Francois Pas

not when I watch.
try this.
Thanks for the effort, but still the same. Very strange, around the 15:51:20 mark they go from talking about the reserves to talking about 5G.
Anyway, from what I gathered when I had found the clip, Francois was bemoaning continuous issues with equipment procurement. I heard him mumble about 1986, was he saying the issues had been going on since then? The Army don’t just get given money and told to spend it how they want - there are procurement committees that MP’s sit on. Francois should know this as he was minister for defence once - why didn’t he sort it out then?

There's nothing like having a pint of British beer down at the Bull after single handedly seeing off some vertically challenged froggie.MARK FRANCOIS.jpg

The clip is here, there is nothing much to get excited about apart from an MP threatening the military top brass

that was 30 seconds - watch the 10 minutes and as I said although his comment about Cummings is pathetic, his point about over budget and delayed projects is valid.
