FRANK LAMPARD LEAVES THE BUILDING

Football, particularly in the Premier League, is absolutely barmy. I’m no lover of Chelsea, but Frank Lampard has been treated abysmally by them. I hope he finds another club soon.

Should have been given more time, Chelsea needed a rebuild and that takes time. At least he can seek solace in his undoubtedly huge payout💶💴💵😋

Abramovich worried simply about missing the income from next season’s Champions’ League. Short-sighted. Will he alienate the fans? Can he see clearly from his bolt hole in Israel?

As for the purported replacement, Tuchel, doesn’t he need to be granted a work permit now? Why should he qualify for one? He’s only managed Dortmund and PSG plus a couple of minor German clubs. And his playing career was unexceptional. He also has a reputation for losing the dressing room and the directors simultaneously.

Sadly, with Abramovich’s billions, I can’t see it turning into a long term slide.

On the other hand he does know how to say, ‘Oi, you two, you’re shit’ in German

Given the cheque book, blew loads of money. Does not just have a clear view on the style of play nor approach. May be better off getting someone else. May he not the majority view.

Surely they'll use the same tier system for managers as they do for players, an elite manager should easily get a permit.

Tuchal won't work out .

Absolutely barmy decision to get rid of lampard who lives and breathes the club

Should have added experience to the management team instead of potting him

Lampard bought poorly but he's really been stuffed by the owner.

I imagine doing business any form of business with Mr Abramovic is fun.

Spending £222 million (so I read) in the summer and only being mid table is probably the main reason he's been sacked.

He probably should have been given more time, I've seen a lot of Chelsea fans devastated about it. Chelsea is a particularly cut throat club when it comes to managers though, absolutely no standing on ceremony for them.

I would be surprised if Lampard had much input in summer signings. When they fail it's always the same...manager pays the price, never the players. Now they bring in a German manager to appease their German players.
Lampard will get another job and a big payout so I wouldn't feel too sorry for him either although I've always liked him.

That’s what I have been reading in today’s newspapers from self-declared ITK-ers.
