From the Civil Service Re Dominic Cummings

Over 100,000 dead in the USA and the President is out this weekend playing golf. Over 60,000 total dead in the U.K. and breaking the rules of lock down is ok if you’re the unelected ‘Prime Minister’.
The highest and 2nd highest death toll in the world.

Tim, your in law. Can you sack someone straight away bearing in mind this is civil service so employment law will be strict?
Surely they get suspended, hearing then decision. They may have quit.
 
It would be a gross misconduct breach of the Civil Service code which is a sackable offence.

Presumably someone in Cabinet Office based on the Twitter handle

Well it is kind of important to be publicly and judgmentally politically impartial if you’re in the civil service and It’s right up there near the top in the job description. It’s like a priest getting busted attending a satanic ritual, a civil servant using an official communication channel to air a view like the one tweeted....even if it is the truth!

On the day Cummings keeps his job defrauding the public purse of his pay and you endorse the sacking of a person of a job, security and maybe mouths to feed.

Tell me where he has defrauded the public purse. Again you resort to foul language when your point holds no water. He/she has posted a private message on a public Civil Service Twitter account. He/she will be lucky if they are not prosecuted as well. They deserve to be sacked. Keep politics out of th he Civil Service.

If you have access to more than one Twitter channel, one of which is work, make sure you're logged into the right one before posting personal views.

Thank you for your reply I didn't expect one and I apologise for my language but Cummings although not proven guilty yet!! I think it's just a matter of time. I intially objected to your instant judgment of 'Good', I'm sure you'd agree an human knee jerk reaction to such a twattery post. Anyway, hope my response is more than acceptable than 'Good' to a person who may lose their livlihood. You're stll a ** though and I will say that to your face.
