Full fibre broadband ….does anyone know?

I believe it depends on the provider so best approach them first.
Virgin is available in most areas, using the old Cable & Wireless infrastructure I think. However Ive heard BT / Opereach are in the process of providing fibre links to the Green boxes at the end of the street, which should increase the broadband speed, for many users.
From a personal requirement, Ive been advised by Sky that my street (off Preston Old Road) is still on the old copper and no date given for fibre.
 
Was installed down our road early last year , so upgraded our BT to full fibre in October. 950 mbs download 120 upload , extremely reliable. Barely any increase in cost , so can highly recommend.

Just checked on the link Seasideone posted earlier, and it appears the Marton Exchange (opposite Boars Head) is due to be upgraded sometime before Dec 2026 !!!
