We looked better at CB and agree on Sarkic but would say all 3 subs looked an improvement.Ballard looks very good and reliable at the back. Hopefully the rest of the team will have confidence with him behind them that they can take a few more chances in future and make something happen. Sarkic looked better than he has previously, however the opposition were poor.
Thought CJ redeemed himself with the cross for the goal and a couple more after that. Kemp should have scored.Ballard Kaikai and Kemp

To be honest I was waiting for Robson on, Ward off for most of the second half... Agreed that the subs were all decent though, and I'm not usually impressed with MadineWe looked better at CB and agree on Sarkic but would say all 3 subs looked an improvement.
Midfield still doesn't convince though does it?
Yeah...he’s not the player that we can rely on to get us back when trailing though which is the measure of a good player.I

Kemp is not the full answer for our woes but he looks keen as mustard and up for it.Williams body language was awful. Whenever we had a throw in he just ambled away with his back to the ball, at least look interested. Kemp at least added a bit of urgency when he came on.
Are you sure you don’t mean Hamilton. I would have said exactly that about himWilliams body language was awful. Whenever we had a throw in he just ambled away with his back to the ball, at least look interested. Kemp at least added a bit of urgency when he came on.
They always show a similar stat to that no matter who they're playing; if I remember rightly they even did it against Arsenal in preseason.Precious 3 points but 39% possession against a very average side and 2 shots on target shows the problems are still there. I just hope that gives the players some confidence. Ballard has made a massive difference at the back.
Perhaps, and I agree we were poor. Good job we were playing MK Dons today then!Any other team would have battered us 5 or 6 nil today.. If your happy with that
Doh, I meant Hamilton, my mistake. Are you sure you don’t mean Hamilton. I would have said exactly that about him
Have you ever wondered if the manager put a team out to beat them at their own game?Any other team would have battered us 5 or 6 nil today.. If your happy with that
61% of possession by Richard Keogh and the keeper. Can't remember a single save needed to be made by Maxwell. Agree about Ballard, although Ekpiteta is looking far more assured than in the early games.Precious 3 points but 39% possession against a very average side and 2 shots on target shows the problems are still there. im not sure they would because the defence was determined to hold out, i suppose we will never know. but milton keynes were really sh17.Any other team would have battered us 5 or 6 nil today.. If your happy with that
Sorry Clappers I thought Williams played well today, without backing from ward and woodburn.Ballard Kaikai and Kemp

Didn't watch yesterday for the first time this season and so knew we'd win but having read the write ups I'm glad it wasn't a game I endured and instead enjoyed the 3 points Onwards and Upwards as a board dignitary once said!Terrible performance and questionable tactics at times but thats 3 points and won scrappy.
He made a save at end of first half. A shot which was deflected but it was an easy save.61% of possession by Richard Keogh and the keeper. Can't remember a single save needed to be made by Maxwell. Agree about Ballard, although Ekpiteta is looking far more assured than in the early games.
