Glad all over

I have just accidentally fallen into the old sight, a thread has started, again, about glad all over. Suggestions have been made. I thought perhaps Hi ho silver lining by Jeff Beck, just the chorus. Good lively goal celebration which most people know and would just add something to a goal, thoughts?

Right then, we’ll just leave it to the 🔔ends to keep invading the pitch. And just take the punishment the EFL impose.

While Glad All Over was ok, I do much prefer the sound of a passionate crowd going berserk. They used to start playing it before anyone had chance to get out of their seats, and actually killed the natural celebration in my view. It also reminds me of the Oyston era.

It was a good decision to ditch it imo, and I really don't think we need music to celebrate a goal. We've maybe suffered a slightly flat atmosphere recently due to poor results and poor football, but when it clicks again you won't even notice.

The next step is to ban anyone found switching on the lights on their phones and waving them about!

I am 70 and spent 12 years in the navy, so when it comes to swearing I could probably give you lessons. But there is a time and place and this isn’t it. Knife crime & mugging old ladies is a part of modern life, but that doesn’t make it right.
Sorry you are completely stuck in the past in my company last night young old female swore and we just got on with it.
I just posted a Stormy track with swearing in it that a five year old can access so get over yourself.
Trying to compare it to knife crime just shows you up how out of touch you are.👍

They shouldn't have gone on but there was only a few went more than a few feet or so most only just on the grass with the players. If that was us months ago they would have been running down the other end. I think a few got a bit excited but most stayed back.

Whether wrong to go on or not am sure its given the players a boost feeling some tangerine passion.

I understand what you say, however as I said there is no love lost between the EFL and us as you know. So all I am saying is don’t give them any excuse to exact revenge.

Yeah I agree they shouldn't but we have passionate youth. Think they are slowly learning not to got completely ott like Fleetwood last year was. Last minute derby winner this time was a happy celebration.

I know a few have said about away fans going in the north east and that it might increase issues. Maybe (and just throwing it out there) the away fans being in the north east would reduce fans on the pitch.

A lot in the north like to mock and wind up other fans if we get winners etc. That can all be done easily from the north stand if away fans are nearer them. You can see all the away fans faces then and maybe less need to try and get closer to them. As long as its properly barriered and stewarded.

We used to play crappy 60s music at the EFL HQ to annoy them! 👍🏻

Goal Celebration music was from the Oyston era, and that's where it should remain.
I know all about EFL HQ I was there on all protests. That’s one more reason for their dislike of everything Blackpool. That was my point, they need very little excuse, let’s not give it to them.👍

If you get you wish to play crappy 60s jingles after each goal, I reckon fans will be running on the pitch to avoid it! 🤣

If you watch back the goal celebrations after our winner on Tuesday, Glad All Over would have completely ruined it! Great to hear the crowds roar and within seconds we get the 'Der Der Der Der Der Blackpool' song which sounds so much better than any random piece of music which usually gets played at the wrong time and sounds shit when you've scored when you're 3-0 down. Leave it as it is.
