Goal music

When we scored we used to play Glad all over, the whole crowd used to join in which created an atmosphere we need something similar to lift the crowd and the players.Evatt needs that sort of atmosphere to help him and the players.
But think back that music helped bring a great lift to the crowd and players
Yeah lets get clap sticks and balloons too!

No no no. Just look at some of the cricket FFS blaring noise every time someone scores a six or whatever so phoney & frankly embarrassing. Leave it in America.

100% bring it back.Blackoool supposed to be in the entertainment biz. I suggest "Papa's got a brand new pig bag"" for the goal music.
For the lead out music something rousing that would get the crowd singing along maybe " Penny Arcade". Get rid of the Nolans dirge and Tenpole Tudor sheite. Desperately need an upgrade of the PA system it must still be in use from the Armfield days..

I'm not in favour of goal music but I think it raises a broader point around what the club could do to help boost the atmosphere. BR is electric when we're playing well anyway but it's no bad thing to suggest additional ways in which to drive the decibels up.

I'd probably stop all music in the ground; but the Nolan's is heritage in the same way Z cars is at Everton. And at least it's about us!

I'd have a PA blackout from 15 minutes before kick off.

I'd let the crowd build up the atmosphere; home and away fans goading each other etc.

And never have goal music.

The Pavlovian response ruins spontaneously started chanting across the 90 minutes as gangs expect someone else to start it and respond other than just starting it!

That wouldn't happen though, it would just be boring silence. I'm all for some decent upbeat music before the game as it does make the atmosphere and pre match better leading up to KO as does decent walk out music too. Goal music though, nah not for me, don't need it.

Sorry, but I never want to se KO(KO) anywhere near Bloomfield Road

I'm not sure I'd expect anything different on here being that most posters are grizzled over 60 year olds.

I'd be all up for a bit of Blue, Take That or One Direction after a goal.
I’m a grizzled 80+ year old and I like Take That, I’m partial to a bit of JLS , Bon Jovi and loads of 60s stuff. As I said earlier a lot of our fans are just miserable buggers.

In the 1930's there was "Yes, we have no bananas" a musical theatre hit tune played by a brass band which often entertained the crowd before the game and at half-time. It carried on, as did a band, during the 40's and into the 50's. There were words, a play on the original e.g. "Yes, we have some fine footballers, we have some fine footballers today. We've Matthews and Morty, all splendid and sporty etc etc". I think it came about as it was a jolly song that fitted into the spirit of the team and style of play. The Atomic Boys probably played a version at away games. Not a fan of goal songs or over-noisy tannoy systems but love it when the crowd get into it and create a racket.

I remember when we used to play “I feel good” when we scored and “rocking all over the world” if we won.

It does come across a bit cheesy and crap but then, to be honest, the whole “duuuh duuuurrrr” chant that every other team does is a bit naff too.

Unless we score goals then singing will be a rarity.

Theres the Alright song they brought out about Blackpool, they filmed part of their song at Bloomfield Road. Maybe something like that as other clubs do (Coventry, Forest, Arsenal spring to mind) briefly before kick off. But no goal music though.
