Anybody know the full story behind this? I have head rumours from very good sources that Gold Bond has been sold lock stock and barrel and Blackpool FC will only get 1% of future sales. If so this should be made transparent so that fans have a choice based on facts. I believe the deal is fo at least 3 years and the Gold Bond will be un by an outside agency.
 
Think its a question that needs answering. I hope somebody in the know can explain the exact position...I know what I have said is true but dont know all the nuts and bolts of the deal. Misleading to say the least if BFC only gets 1%.
 
Ok like some have said. Somebody knows something but saying nothing. I’ve just paid for ten weeks for two of us last week so if no update when the money is due again I will cancel them both x
 
Maybe e-mail the club, or the SLO I am sure they must know. I used to have this but cancelled it when we started the boycott. Never won anything on it it mind.
 
Thanks Mr Tangerine Man thats a good shout. Lets see if anyone can shed any light today. Anyone in the BST hierarchy aware of this?? Somebody must be able to give a concise and accurate answer
 
I know we have run it for several clubs over the years and profited (well someone did!) from it.

interesting if we have sold it as was just about to start again - as forgot about it.

I think I will wait.

If they have sold it they need to update the website asap.

On there it does say "Operated by Blackpool FC Development Association".
 
SLO Blackpool I’m sure you read these boards this needs clarification otherwise people will pull out. Thanks in advance.
 
I have heard that one of the interim board had some involvement in this covert sale and as I said the rumour is BFC will only get 1%. Can we get some clarity to stop the rumour mill going into overdrive?

Seriously,which member of this forum do you expect is able to give you this information?Pick up the phone and call the club or email them and you will get the answer.

Just saying you sound very needy,you can clear this up with one phone call,why you won't just do that instead of moaning on here suggests an agenda?
 
Just been informed(by what i consider a reliable source),it is still under the control of BFC,Oyston nor anyone else have any control over it,and BFC still get the % they always have.

Answer posted specifically for TTP
 
By the way it wasnt Oyston that was mentioned...pretty sure they relinquished all control last year...I hoped what I was told was wrong so thats good news if your source is correct...good work pal

B.) Please, someone confirm this shocking rumour
C.) Answer.....I think it's just a made up rumour

I 'believe' because it comes under gambling...any change of ownership/running would have to be detailed on the site.

Or he should have called the club for confirmation like I suggested,the same club he is now demanding a response from on this forum,like they are registered on here!

not run by bfc intrim board sold it along with the staff fact
yes the staff worked for bfc and now they dont easy to understand

What i find strange then is,search goldbondlotto online and you will find it’s run by Blackpoolfc development association,so i suppose the interim board have sold that as well ,whilst still allowing the new owners to use the clubs name?

Either way it states a minimum.of 50% stake money to BFC

I think Shrewsbury might have the answer.If someone has sold it then there has to be a buyer and the Shrews might just have done that.
 
It's like working with a bunch of 8 year old's....Honestly, Missing...I always thought you were on the ball.

It's a non story...Gold Bond is part of BFC.....the site says so
It's using the name of the club and is based at the club....it's run by the club.

AND...WHO in their right mind would take 1% of something that can only work...because it's at the club.
50%....to the winners
50%...to the club (less costs....and don't start going on about costs)
 
Just a few things I looked up. No idea what it all means but maybe someone else does?

I dont think the site is up to date and thats why this needs an answer to clarify matters...I DONT make things up and anyone that thinks I am a first time poster is somewhat off the mark...I believe Missing link is close to the truth and you're miles behind Bside...Hopefully somebody will confirm the 1% sooner rather than later as the fans have a right to know

I never said for 1 minute you did and nobody called YOU a new poster, it was said about another poster as I read it.

I'd like to know if its been sold myself, only reporting what I found online
