Interesting set of fixtures - looks like no one has an easy ride on Friday - maybe Oxford?

Derby County v Blackpool
Lincoln City v Leyton Orient
Shrewsbury Town v Oxford United
Stevenage v Bolton Wanderers

Could go any way. But we’re still in with a shout.

Derby will be bruised following their unexpected loss yesterday, which could go against us.
But on the flipside, they've played while we've rested and they had a player sent off.
A 1-2 win for the Pool 🧡

Amazing faith in this team.

The away games I’ve been to this season we have been so poor I just can’t share your optimism😂

But I really hope your right

Over the years, I've learnt that those who give negative comment about the team or the coach get pelters. So whatever the circumstances I try my best to be optimistic - even if my head says 'don't be mental' 🤣

I would actually take draws for us, Lincoln and Stevenage and defeat for Oxford - that would put the cat amongst the pigeons!

Oxford 63
Stevenage 63
Lincoln 62
Pool 61

With 6 games to go and only really Barnsley of any note to play, that would be nicely poised.

I can't see Orient being there at the end of the season and so would prefer a win for them at Lincoln just to pop their balloon.
Shrewsbury aren't in bad form and have won two of their last three and so not giving up on the season just yet.

Have to say if you are a non-interested party, the race for 6th place is arguably the most interesting thing in League One this season.

Call me an old cynic and feel free to mock me by 5pm today but I feel today might be the day the season ends with a disappointing defeat followed by a dismal draw on Monday. With no Rhodes I just think we're back to Square One in terms of who gets the goals.
