Defiant, I would say.
1. He knows that the owner has backed him in the market, and still is, if today's reports are anything to go by.
2. He also knows that sacking him would have financial consequences that the club would presumably rather avoid.
I don't think he should take too much notice of social media and a small number of malcontents at away games. And if he wins a game or two, then a lot of the pressure will dissipate. There are plenty of people losing their heads at the moment, I would hope that he and the owner refrain from joining them.
