Grimshaw - Blackpool's Number 1

Np wonder you can't be arsed, it's because your post was bull shit. As Jaffa says my whole point around Maxwell coming back into the team was because he was our no 1 keeper, not because he was captain. And guess what that's what Critchley thought too.
Anyway forget the Maxwell captain argument. I was under the impression you had some kind of alarm system in.your house which went off everytime someone quoted or replied to you. Is this broke? Just wondering with the delayed replies, you're normally quite on the ball. I have mate who fits Burglar alarms and I'll happily pass him your number if you would like him to take a look. Please reply quicker.than 3 months this time as his schedule is filling up fast.

Clearly in possession of the shirt at the moment and he would have to perform poorly or get injured to lose it IMO. He can improve his decision making when the opposition play through balls as yesterday at least twice he stayed at home when he could have come for the ball but this is the sort of thing which will improve with age and experience. He is very young for a keeper and can only get better.

Need to make a new brew as I've just spat this one out.

Grimshaw rightly has the shirt. Maxi had a good run of form but it’s been the story of his career. We’d be better to invest in Grimshaw, as a few prem teams are circling around the young Accy keeper, if he keeps improving we’ll start getting some decent bids in.

of course you want to forget the captain argument. It's because you were talking bollox. So don't forget to wipe that egg of your face. I already have a relative that fits alarms but thanks for the offer.

Give the boy the keepers gloves and he will become a man.

As much as I like Maxwell and appreciate the Captain argument, I feel it would be unjust for Grimmy to lose the position again, just because of the captain argument. He's played very well since his call up and as others have said he will improve as he becomes more experienced. I would hazard a guess that he may one day play for one of the big boys and end up in the England camp.

How's that for a forecast.

England’s No 1
Agreed. I called it when we had Hart on loan all those years ago. I think we’re lucky to have some great keepers on our books atm. The fact everyone is arguing for one or the other speaks volumes. I love Maxi and I think he did a great job for us last season but Grimmy takes it for me. He’s been sensational and I can see him going on to brilliant things in the future (hopefully with us).

The more I see Grimshaw play, the more he grows on me and I have to confess my confidence levels rise too! Not only for the Man City connection but he does remind me of Joe Hart back in 2007 - a young, exciting GK with a promising career ahead of him!
