Grimshaw?

Looked a bit nervy with the ball at his feet, should improve as he settles, he did ok.

Moore made one average save but Critch chose to go with Grimshaw. That should tell you all you need to know.

Grimshaw’s strength, having been at City, is his distribution. He did it well in the cup game v Boro. Today I thought he looked nervous and there was some poor distribution.

I was surprised Moore didn’t play, not least for his greater physical presence, but then his distribution won’t be as good as Grimshaw, and clearly NC wants us playing out from the back.

It’s difficult for any club to have a top quality keeper on the bench. We have to get through until Maxwell is fit again, and personally I’d give Moore an opportunity at Reading.

Critch said it's likely that he won't just use one of the back up jeepers during Maxwell's absence. He's likely explained this to Moore, who maybe will play at Reading? Critch and Banks are smart chaps who had a tough call to make, and had to assess the state of mind of both players ahead of an away Championship game with 30000 fans, something neither player has experienced.

He did OK today, distribution was poor for a keeper who's been at Man City, probably put a lot of it down to nerves. People need to remember the manager and coaches see these lads every day in training, if he's Maxwell's replacement then who are we to argue?
