Group A (Italy v Wales)

C'mon Wales and with a bit of luck there could be another British clash in these Championships.
Just depends on whether Scotland can squeeze through because England seem to have imploded.

You've only got to look at some of the threads on here to see that.

Do you want the Swiss to win?
I appreciate good goals and the swiss have scored two good uns.
Don't give a toss who wins but this match has got more on it with both teams having to win rather than an Italy Wales match that I would imagine is no better than a pre season kick around🤷‍♂️

You would imagine. Well, I'm not telling you. I want Wales to win.

That card fucks up the fair play way of getting through if they're level with the Swiss on everything else.

Wont be level, the Turks have just scored.
Been a long time since I've seen a game with so many cracking goals.

No tap ins in this match!!

Brilliant. Well done Wales. I guess Switzerland must still stand a good chance of qualifying as one of the best in third place?

Wrong. Don't know what pre season kick abouts you were watching. Tho the Blackpool Everton one was pretty decent as I recall. Been a very decent, tense game. Italy have been technically very good, scarily so on set pieces and Wales play like a proper team. 100% from everybody. 100% effort is always good to watch.. A team giving as good as they've got. A decent game for the neutral or for anyone who wants the home nations to do well

Really impressed with Wales. Yes they lost but with 10 for a large chunk of the 2nd half they still performed well. Bale could easily have equalised.

They have something about them as a team and they make the most of the talent they have (hope you were watching closely Southgate).

James has been brilliant throughout their first 3 games. Will look forward to their game in Amsterdam on Saturday v Russia, Finland or Denmark. And I'd fancy them against any of those 3 teams.

You forgot to mention it might be Belgium.

I'm not sure about easily equalised. Ball came at him fast n highish. Mind you I'd have backed Ellis Simms to catch it with his right n vang it in with his left 😁

They were absolutely shite and didn't even look like getting into Italy's half Bale chance aside.

This "love in" with the home nations bar England is cringe. They've beaten an awful Turkey side and that's it.

Also James was absolutely non existent, hence being taken off. He did nothing.
