According to the Gazette, what do we think?should he have kept quite? Has announcing it helped or hindered his chances?
 
Surely we all agree that Mr Evatt appears to be better management talent than Mr GTF. I doubt the board view would be any different. Great that he wants it though!
 
As I've said before on here, I work with someone who has played under GTF, and when I told him he was in the running for the Blackpool job, he burst out laughing.
A proper, full on belly laugh.
That told me everything I need to know about his chances of getting the job.
 
Not experienced enough, plus his only experience is in a league that is similar to the conference north in standard
 
Why not GTF until end of the season. Hed bring a feelgood factor worth him and then he could join Evatt end of the season. Could work. 🙂

Even if he doesn't join evo... if Dunn is "hoping a manager is appointed sooner rather than later" (or words to that effect) then I'd rather have GTF and see how he does till end of season. If he does well and lifts the team... give him chance. If not, sorry to say it but pot him and give the chance to someone else.
