From Matt Scrafton:
Gary Taylor-Fletcher has become the first man to throw his name in the ring for the Blackpool manager's job. "If the managerial job is available then I’m not going to shy away from putting my name forward for it"
He also confirmed he'd be prepared to work alongside some of his ex-teammates such as Ian Evatt, Keith Southern and Stephen Crainey. "I’d definitely be prepared to work alongside some of those other former players. We’ve all got great experience and a love of the club"

Because he was first of all a good footballer, second of all he actually cares about the club. Of which I am not sure you can say the same about Grayson. He was with us at one of the most exciting times as a football club and understands where the club has been and what it's been through.

He did a good job at Bangor. And I think he would be a really good edition to the coaching team.

Sadly odds are lengthening on Evo and Jones shortening, not that I would be disappointed if we got Jones. Lowe would be a great manager too.

If Jones gets the gig then "Nathan Jones you've been here too long" will ring around the ground at an indeterminate time. Sooner rather than later in my humble opinion.

Yeah, why not? Get him working with Nuttall. Get the lads confidence back. There could be a great footballer in there.

Fair enough Kurtis, I wouldn't be an expert on Nuttall and hope he can progress positively but I'm struggling to think why GTF would be the man to assist such progress. Rather than this "jobs for the boys" approach that many seem so keen on, I'd rather fetch the right man for the job.

Please don't take this as harsh criticism Kurtis, many will agree with you, I can't say I've ever been a great fan of GTF to be honest and I certainly couldn't rave about his coaching achievements since his retirement.
