Happiest you have been as a Pool fan

Last week , sitting in the stands at Brunton Park, Carlisle….even if it was just a friendly.
This was the first time my two little Blackpool fanatics got to see our team in the flesh.
( You’ve got a lot to answer for COVID-19…..time to pack your bags and go and let us enjoy football life as we knew it )

Brilliant post. Lovely kids. Hope they and you have great times watching the Mighty

The day in court when Belokon won and we knew the 4 years of NAPM was going to end, since then our very own Simon Sadler just keeps adding to the joy. Agree amazing to be in and around the ground on Tuesday and enjoying happy times with fellow Seasiders

From the second half at the City ground through to the parade on the Prom. Unbelievable days.
Closely followed by hearing Mr Justice Marcus Smith utter the words which appointed receivers. Oh and the homecoming. And winning 5-1 at Deepdale in an end of season friendly. And Billy Ronson’s goal against Bolton…and….

Stoke away in the prem.

Had flu. Only game I could attend THAT season. Had to get the train down from Manchester. Almost didn't go I felt that bad. Saw DJ score the only goal of the match. Got the train back. Realised it might be the only time in my life we'd ever win a top flight game in my life time and be there to witness it... and balled my eyes out with the joy of having actually having been there!

Then Mr S. Sadler came along and I'm not so sure that'll be the only top flight game I'll ever see us win with my own eyes. The real joy starts now.

Forest away was the best game I've ever been to, the atmosphere, performance and celebrations are unmatched. The problem with any of the play off win is that it is a different atmosphere and feel to a game at a club ground.

In terms of happiness, May this year will take some beating. With everything that had gone before it, I don't just mean the Oystons but C19, to share that moment with family and friends was unbelievable.

A few to mention in no particular order, watching as a child watching Billy Bentley, Suddick, Ronson, Walsh, Hatton etc.
Southern scoring at Leicester in 2007 and singing Blackpool are back.
arriving in Preston on a train special singing Blackpool are Back in early 80’s.
the moment we got promoted to the Prem beyond a dream (unfortunately tinged with sadness as it was an empty gesture instead of Blackpool are back for good).
Winning at Wembley this year as it now means more as the club and fans grow.
also strangely watching at friends as we got promoted to league 1 as it was important to be as high up the pyramid as possible once a change appeared.
plus special mentions for Darlington away early 80’s
Swansea away 3-4 and the responses afterwards from the swans.
plus many London away days.
colin Greenalls debut with the hope of Alan Balls new era unfortunately a false dawn.
plus mini buses and transit van moments, train journeys and Ashes trip to Sunderland late 2019.
Being a Seasider they all matter, but the futures going to be the best moment 🤞🧡🍊⚽😁👍

A certain day in 1953 comes to mind, but there have been some other great victories since then as mentioned above, not least the win against the Hammers in the FA cup, against Sunderland with a rather special goal and a penalty save by Budgie, the Italian adventure and beating Bologna to win the title, Arsenal at home one evening in the cup and of course Wembley 2010.
Some wonderful moments including a Christmas day and Boxing day double over Preston in 1958, oh boy that was some Christmas.

The three years in the Championship before we went into the EPL for me. Nobody rated us, everyone was right behind the team and we played some really good football.

In person it's slim pickings for me since I went to almost every game from 94-2003. Hardly a glorious period, since then I've only seen two games in person, home to Barnsley in 2009 where we lost 2-1 and away to Middlesboro a week later where we won 3-0 and played them off the park.

So probably that night at the riverside, Charlie with the third ghosting through their defence like maradona.

Like most I’ve experienced many happy occasions following the Pool for 55 years the Pickering hat trick, 100s of Play Off final wins the list goes on, but the 9th March 2019 Homecoming Day has to be the happiest day. It was the day we celebrated as one getting our club back, a day of raw emotion that meant so much to the fans, the town and community.

Seeing Paul Groves leading the team out at Wembley in the Torquay Play off final in 91 at the time was the happiest as I had waited all my life to see the Pool at Wembley...little did I know how many times we would be back...(It as also the worst day when losing on penalties).
That Peterborough game away in 2010 to reach the playoffs as a great day.
So was the perfect 10 in 2007.
But best day, presently, was Wembley 2010 by a mile.

Getting our club back and able to go to games with my Son and Grandchildren, Premier league Play off's, My first game 1967.

As a single moment, probably the scenes after the end of the Forest game in 2010. What a night.

Currently in a state of contentment knowing that regardless of results, the club is on the right trajectory and being run as you'd want it to be.

If we can combine that level of football with the club being run as it is, then I'll be ecstatic.

Last season was the first time me and my 3 sons had all got season tickets together as my youngest had just turned 7. Covid put pay to that but I've bought us all season tickets again and cant blimmin wait for the first game of the season. Think that's going to be my most proudest moment 😀⚽🍊

You enjoy the moments , Mate 👍🏻
Working shifts means I couldn’t attend a full season, and what with travelling and the finances involved means we as a family have to be picky and choosy as to what games we can attend.

If things were different, then family season tickets would be priority on my shopping list.

Sing your hearts out, and ‘ C’Mon the Poooool ‘

Must admit after buying then last season and not getting to go on did have me 2nd guessing if investing in them this season is a wise financial move but having had the chance to go to the play off final I could just see the joy in my lads eyes so 🤞 we have a full season of footy together to look forward to

I'm not sure I could say at Wembley in 2010, it was absolute utter shock. A completely surreal feeling.

Final whistle after Forest was probably the happiest.
I think that sums it up for me.
It was the pinnacle of 50 years of watching Blackpool more often than not in decline but with a few significant highs.

Great memories and agree with lots above..but most there was always the questions "but where is the money".. and then after cardiff "at least we will get a decent training ground now"..

So for me that day we heard that the scum had gone is no1 but then everyday after then has been a dream come true and recent Wembley win nearly was no1 (waiting for championship one)... to have a professionally run club now is unbelievable.. and I really think our squad will take this championship by storm... its just magically times ahead imo

Now that Middlesbrough away was mid week I believe? And we absolutely mullered them.

If memory serves me right IMO GTF was awesome and my mom on the night?

The Blackpool v Southend homecoming game was just insane and I remember every minute of it still!

Got to be the aftermath of the win over Cardiff at Wembley and the feeling of euphoria when Mickey Walsh banged in that goal of the season against Sunderland. Closely followed by beating Lincoln of course with the Dougall double….

Probably the homecoming against Southend. Marching along the Prom with my aged M&D.
But also sitting in St Pancras station Champagne bar well after the Wembley win over Cardiff and a young lass walked past wearing a rather old and worn “Rebecca’s” Pool shirt. High fives!
Oddly enough, sitting in the old Supporters Club shed after beating Man City 2-1 in the FA Cup 3rd round in the early 80s and Sam Ellis came in to take the applause.
Beating West Ham in the FA Cup 3rd round when, as a kid, I first ran on the hallowed pitch to slap TG on the back and said “well done”. He was too knackered to reply.
Darlington away when we won on the last day of the season to get in the play-offs. I had to POTG and go in the home end, so celebrations were muted.
The Mill Stad.

Yeah, GTF set up the first if I recall, Barry Bannan played a blinder too.

Took a cab to the ground and the cabbie was a boro fan. Kept patronizing us, "must be exciting for you to play a big team like this", made it even sweeter to think of his reaction seeing the score.

TangerineS. 2 lovely children, must take after their Mum. :)

I think 1953 FA Cup Final for me.
However, all the promotion winning finals that I saw were terrific too.
