Scores the winner for Plymouth in the 92 minute. It’s all hindsight but shouldn’t we have kept him...

Never really saw the lad play but that was a decent goal at any level 👍 (btw - think he only came because of Jordan Thompson and so I bet he won't want to come back!).

Cannot see Ryan Lowe, I think Sadler will want someone of a higher profile and proven record in getting into the Championship. Evo would be a great fit from a reminiscence perspective but the National League is totally different to LG 1 and the Championshop. In my view he need a season in LG 2 to prove hi.self further

Bit of a contradiction there mate saying Lowe doesn't have the experience, but if Evo got same experience he would be a good fit. You may well be right that SS wants someone proven, but Grayson had a proven record for promotion from league one and look how that went. Sometimes it is wprth giving a younger, fresher manager a chance to shine. Lowe, Evo, Wellens, Jones all young and more up to speed with the modern game

I agree with you a point. I just think we have to take the emotion/link to the club out off it. If Evo had no connection to the club at all would everyone be clamouring for him? I'm not sure they would, the same could be said for Wellens. Saddler has ambitions to get into the championship (and stay there) in the next two to three years, playing an attacking fast flowing and entertaining type of football (something that Hraydon has never done or will ever do). The obvious and probably correct choice with a proven record of doing that is Nathan Jones.

Hraydon, typo apologies should have read Grayson

Whole heartedly agree on Nathan Jones

If Hraydon = Grayson then he has done it, here at this club! Some of the best football we've seen at this club in our lifetimes. Perfect football, for ten games.

Wellens is top of League two, Evatt top of the league below that. So they are currently doing good jobs, it's not simply about their connection to this club.

Grayson has been gash at his last two or two clubs before us (Sunderland/Bradford) and despite his overall impressive CV (including the perfect ten) is well past his sell by date. Football has moved on. I agree that what Evo and Wellens are doing is impressive but I do not think if you take away their connection to the club they would ge getting a look in. I watched Luton two or three times in their pro.otion season and they were mightily impressive. They blew teams away and were amazing to watch just as a football fan. If Jones can recreate that here (and it's an if) we will be in for a hell of a ride. Jones also brought through Lutons kids and did not spend a huge amount, with Saddlers backing he could be amazing for us.
